Q: How does release day work?
A: The session date and time will go live on our website at 10am on July 15th, sessions will go quick and maybe even get time slots stolen from you because so many people are trying at the same time. We need sessions to book solid timing with Santa and not leave gaps so therefore we open the dates and times in increments so if you miss out, text us or refresh the page after a few minutes.
Q: What will the set look like?
A: This year we will be focusing on red and white clean and minimal look. We plan to have two large Christmas trees and a couch for family/Santa to sit on if wanted.
Q: What are the dates available to book?
A: We will be hosting sessions on October 14th and 20th, November 2nd all for Santa and November 3rd for NON SANTA. Possible waitlist date will be decided.
Q: Can family be included?
A: Yes, we encourage family photos before we bring Santa out. All immediate family is included in the price. Anyone additional like cousins, grandparents, etc will be charged $25 per head limited to 4 people, please.
Q: What about infants?
A: We strongly encourage parents to be involved with children under one years old for before family photos. We can always prop them up for individual shots if parents choose not to be in photos but it is much easier with hands on little babies. Parents do not typically get in the Santa photos but you are welcome too.
Q: Where are these sessions located?
A: Sessions are located at our Dallas Studio- 4428 Main St.
Q: How long are the sessions?
A: Sessions will be 15 minutes long, your spouse will thank you! These are quick and easy for Dads and also not enough time for kids to break down. If you have a shy little one it is best to arrive early and let them acclimate to the waiting room and new environment.
Q: How is the session with Santa broken down?
A: We bring Santa out very last so that we can get great photos of your child(ren) before just incase they get scared by the big guy. If you have a baby the session is usually broken down into 10 minutes of family/sibling/individuals and the last 5 minutes with Santa. If you have a big kid that listens a little better and wants to spend time talking with Santa it could be reverse. There is no hard rule, Jessica makes the best judgement call on what's most important to each family and how the children are responding.
Q: What Santa are you using?
A: The one and only Pappy! We have used the same Santa for 8 years now, this will be our 9th year with him! 
Q: What are our safety precautions?
A: We get it, lots of kids with Santa equals lots of germs. We will be following the same guidelines we always do to keep germs at bay. We will have a hand washing station, baby wipes to clean little ones hands and faces, and hand santizer available. 
Q: What happens if someone in my family is sick?
A: You must reschedule and be okay with the possibly that Santa will not have time to be in the session when we reshoot. It's a real bummer, and we totally understand but Santa has begged all photographers to not let their clients show up sick. He is someones dad, someones grandfather, please respect everyone's safety. If you show up with a visibly sick member of the family we will turn you away and you will loose your session fee.
Q: Who will be in contact with my family?
A: Ana (studio manager) will be checking everyone in, Jessica will be taking pictures and Santa will be there if you choose a date with Santa involved in the session.
Q: Does Santa have to be a part of this session?
A: No. If you prefer to only take family and children photos, that's totally fine. We will be scheduling a date for non-Santa photos- if this date doesn't work for your family we ask you choose the latest session on another date so Santa can leave after his last one.
Q: What will my gallery look like?
A: We strive to present you between 15-20 images to choose your 5 final images. If your kids do great sometimes there are extras and if they have a hard time sometimes we only get 7ish. Every session is different!
